How to setup your Avada theme options:

Theme options are the backbone of your WordPress Website.

Theme options allow you to configure your logo, the type of header you want, how your footer will look, the style of your font, and the color schemes on your site.

Watch me setup the theme options for the eBikeDiary.com Website.

I’ve created a tutorial video for each theme option.

The tutorial tabs are listed in the order that I feel are most important to least important.

You will want to go through each tab below to make sure you have your Website configured the way you want it.

Your favicon, favorite icon, will be square in shape and is viewed in the tab of your Web browser and the icon used when you bookmark a Website. If you don’t know how to create a favicon, you can hire a graphic designer to do it for you. As you get ready to upload your favicons, you will need the following sizes:

Website Favicon = 16 pixels x 16 pixels

Apple iPhone Favicon = 57 pixels x 57 pixels

Apple iPhone Retina Favicon = 114 pixels x 114 pixels

Apple iPad Favicon = 72 pixels x 72 pixels

Apple iPad Retina Favicon = 144 pixels x 144 pixels

How to setup your Avada layout options:

The default layout is the WIDE layout.

Most modern Websites use the Wide layout and I recommend using the WIDE layout.

The Boxed layout activates a background image, pattern, or solid color.

Page Content Padding: The top padding is the amount of blank space that exists before the content shows up. The bottom padding is how much blank space exists after the last of your content.

The default settings are 90px for the top padding and 90px for the bottom padding.

I set my top and bottom padding to 20px for the top padding and 20px for the bottom padding.

What you set yours at depends on how much blank room you like above and below your content.
